A Design Collection for the asture specifier

The Cross Street Project

We were recently approached by C+M Studio and asked if we would like to contribute a few pieces of furniture to the styling of their Cross Street project in Bronte. The Cross Street Project is where local design, community, and the beauty of Sydney beachside living combine.

In simple terms, The Cross Street project is an apartment that C+M Studio have renovated, styled with beautiful furniture and products, and then thrown the doors open. You can wander through to inspect or attend any of a number of talks and workshops that will be taking place in the space.

If you’re in the market for a new home, this residence gives you the opportunity to do that rare thing of moving straight in, buying the apartment with everything that is currently in it. (Of course, you can choose to buy it empty as well, but why would you when it looks how it does?)

For the next few weeks anyone can come in and experience the beautiful apartment, and have the opportunity to purchase any of the items contained within. In that way, it functions as a future home/event space/retail store, supporting local designers and giving the public another way to interact with great design.

So if you’re in Bronte make sure you check it out! We have a Hunter armchair in the living room and two marble GEO tables as bedsides in one of the bedrooms, all of which form part of our signature collection. So have a seat, a touch, a feel, and get in touch if you want to discuss them for your next project—or your current home!

The Cross Street Project is located at Unit 1, 13 Cross Street, Bondi. It is open 25 October to 9 November on weekends, 9:30am–midday and 1:30–5:30pm on Saturdays; 11am–5pm Sundays.
